New Life Chapel is the English Ministry of Sang Myung Presbyterian Church.  Our ministry began in July of 2004 with the desire to create a ministry for the second generation Korean-Americans in Bergen County and those currently attending Sang Myung Presbyterian Church.  We believe in covenantal theology, which sees the importance of the Christian Faith being passed on from generation to generation.  Therefore, we believe in the importance of continuing in the church tradition with our first generation Korean congregation, and plan to coexist with them as a “one church, two congregations” model.  We hope that you will join our covenant community as we desire to worship God in Spirit and in truth and try to faithfully pass on the reformed faith from generation to generation.
